Insight, Wisdom, and the Path

from $10.00

A course based on The Profound Treasury of the Ocean of Dharma, Volume One

April 16th – July 30th, 2023

  • Sundays: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM ET

  • Led by Jane Kolleeny and Tom Pantaleoni

  • Open to all, regardless of background

  • Location: Classes meet on Zoom

  • Suggested offering: $150*

  • Sourcebook: can be ordered from Shambhala Publications, Amazon, or other booksellers

Based upon The Profound Treasury of the Ocean of Dharma Volume One-The Path of Individual Liberation, this course presents three important aspects of the path of meditation: insight, wisdom and the path. The first section is an in-depth presentation of the practice of Vipashyana, or insight, meditation in the Mahayana tradition. This is literally the most extensive and thorough presentation of this often-misunderstood phase of meditation practice that can be found anywhere in print. The second section is the result of meditation, which is the wisdom of understanding the Four Noble Truths in their full profundity. This fundamental scheme forms the framework for every aspect of all traditions of Buddhism.
