In Welcoming the Unwelcome, Pema Chodron discusses how to strengthen our ability to communicate with candor even when we disagree. Sharing stories, everyday practices, and commonsense advice, Pema encourages us to align ourselves with a life directed by wholeheartedness and consideration for others, especially important in polarized times.
This volume includes teachings on the true meaning of karma, transforming adversity into opportunities for growth, and freeing ourselves from the perceived separation from our fellow human beings. A combination of wisdom, heartfelt reflections, humor and insight makes this book an important guide for contemporary life.

Books can be ordered from Shambhala Publications or other book sellers.
